Zal Industrial is a privately owned, family-operated industrial supply distributor serving businesses across Southern California. We are hiring an experienced Inside/Outside Sales Representative to drive new business growth and strengthen our position as a leading regional distributor.
This role is ideal for someone with prior fastener or industrial distribution experience who is disciplined, organized, and motivated to grow revenue and advance their sales career. The right candidate will be comfortable balancing field activity with inside sales coordination.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, site visits, quoting, and consistent follow-up.
- Build strong relationships with purchasing managers and operations teams to establish long-term accounts.
- Maintain clear visibility into pipeline activity and revenue performance to meet or exceed sales goals.
Quoting & Product Expertise
- Prepare accurate quotes and process sales orders for fasteners and industrial components, ensuring correct specifications, materials, finishes, and applications.
- Work directly with customers to identify appropriate parts, substitutions, and solutions based on technical requirements
- Coordinate with purchasing teams to confirm sourcing options, lead times, and competitive pricing while ensuring accurate fulfillment and timely delivery.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in fastener distribution, industrial supply, MRO, or related B2B sales

Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth through new account development and expansion of existing customers.

Experience managing pipeline activity, maintaining accurate CRM records, and providing clear visibility into sales performance and forecasts.
