As a CNC Operator, you will fabricate components and sub-assemblies from materials such as steel, rubber, plastic, and threaded rods, following job orders and blueprints. Your role will involve the use of standard hand tools and overhead cranes, alongside coordinating with administration to efficiently complete job orders. Maintaining safety and cleanliness in your work area is essential.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate components and sub-assemblies according to job orders and blueprints.
- Utilize standard hand tools such as files, squares, and tape measures.
- Handle and manipulate product components using overhead cranes and fork trucks.
- Coordinate with administration to ensure efficient completion of job orders.
- Wear appropriate safety and protective equipment.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area.
Essential Skills
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under minimal supervision.
- Adaptability to a constantly changing work environment.
- Ability to work and communicate as part of a team to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Ability to operate machines such as punch press, drill, jigsaw, grinder, gas torch, stud welder, thread tapping equipment, lathe, brake, and plasma cutter.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to operate a fork truck and overhead crane.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Fabrication skills.
- Blueprint reading.
- Welding experience.
- Experience with hand tools and measuring tools.
- CNC drill and saw operation expertise.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
