Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist
Location: Neptune, NJ
Type: Contract
Shift & Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3 x 12.5-Hour Shifts | 36–37.5 Hours Per Week | Weekends and Holidays as Needed

Pay Rate: $54 - $64/hour

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Neptune, NJ.

Responsibilities

Provide respiratory therapy treatments under medical direction for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
Assist with intubation procedures and manage ventilator setup, monitoring, and adjustments.
Evaluate patient respiratory status and gather relevant clinical data.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams.
Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory conditions and treatment plans.
Document all patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely.
Participate in diagnostic testing and consultations as required.
Maintain adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and clinical protocols.
Support a culture of teamwork, respect, and high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required.
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
Active New Jersey Respiratory Care License.
BLS (AHA).
ACLS.
PALS.
Strong communication, critical thinking, and adaptability skills.
