Shift Options: Multiple shifts available, 12 hour (7 AM–7 PM) or (7 PM–7 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead production personnel on shift, including performance reviews, coaching, training, and shift planning
- Troubleshoot processes and perform mold setups/startups as needed
- Optimize workforce allocation to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Prioritize mold set-ups and manpower for maximum throughput
- Monitor machine downtime and implement corrective action plans
- Maintain accurate production logs and data systems
- Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives and promote 5S practices
- Collaborate with support departments to achieve production and quality targets
- Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance on the production floor
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 5+ years of experience in a Shift Supervisor or Production Lead role (manufacturing required).
- Strong background in production scheduling, team leadership, and continuous improvement.
- Experience with Lean, 5S, or Six Sigma methodology (certification a plus).
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience in plastic injection molding is a PLUS but not required.
