Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) - Glenwood Springs, CO Onsite

Salary - 97k to 146k Bonus, Overtime, Relocation BENEFITS

Candidates must have at least 2 years of Cardiology Nurse Practitioner experience.

Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join their Cardiology team. This role provides collaborative care to adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, working under physician supervision and within established treatment plans, clinical guidelines, and ethical standards.

Position Overview:

The NP or PA-C will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with a strong focus on quality, safety, and holistic wellness. This position includes responsibilities in both clinic and hospital settings, including stress testing and consults. The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound clinical judgment, independence, and a team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities:

● Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments

● Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with treatment plans

● Identify and escalate complications appropriately

● Participate in outpatient clinic visits and inpatient rounding/consults

● Supervise stress testing (exercise, echo, nuclear, and dobutamine) and tilt table testing

● Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize care delivery

● Perform additional duties as assigned Required

Qualifications:

● Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cardiology NP or PA

● Master’s degree in Nursing (NP) or graduate of an accredited PA program

● Active, unrestricted Colorado APN or PA license (DORA)

● DEA license

● Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
