Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Orange, CA 92868
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)

Schedule

• Monday – Friday

• 5 x 8-hour Day Shifts

Compensation

• Weekly Pay: $2,500 – $3,200 (based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will ensure patient safety, produce high-quality imaging, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

• Prepare, administer, and monitor radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.

• Conduct PET imaging procedures as assigned.

• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education throughout procedures.

• Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation in the EMR system.

• Adhere to radiation safety standards and quality assurance guidelines.

• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience.

• Current BLS certification.

• Active California State Nuclear Medicine License (required at submission).

• Certification in one of the following:

  • NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board), or

  • ARRT (Nuclear Medicine)

• Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and radiation safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel assignment experience preferred.

• First-time travelers may be considered with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

• Experience with Epic EMR system.
