The Counselor is responsible for the delivery of direct services in a substance abuse treatment setting, as well as representing Outreach to outside agencies in a professional manner in order to increase referrals. This role is dually responsible for recruitment and engagement of clients in need of treatment, maintaining communication with outside referral sources and direct services, and assessing for treatment in the community.
In this role, you will:
- Clinical Care: Conduct intakes, assessments, and individual/group/family counseling.
- Case Management: Manage treatment plans, referrals, and high-volume caseloads.
- Compliance: Maintain strict Medicaid documentation, toxicology testing, and ethical standards.
- Liaison: Coordinate with courts, probation, CPS, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Operations: Support staff coverage and meet all administrative deadlines.

We require:
- One of the following: LMSW, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT (or CASAC/CASAC-T).
- Bilingual Spanish (Up to $4,000 Bonus).
- Experience working in 822 clinics, as well as community outreach preferred
- Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people
- Flexibility in scheduling, if needed.
