Location: Lakeville, MN (suburban community south of the Twin Cities)

Start Date / End Date: ASAP End of School Year (with potential for extension)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, school-based role supporting a middle school caseload in a welcoming suburban district just south of the Twin Cities. This position offers a consistent schedule and the opportunity to work closely with students, families, and school staff in a supportive educational environment.

Position Details

• Schedule: Full-Time

• Hours per Week: 37.5 hours

• School Assignment: Middle School (single site)

• Student Population: Middle School

• Work Type: On-site

Caseload & Job Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in alignment with students IEP goals

• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations using standardized and school-based assessment tools

• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on goal development

• Deliver direct and indirect therapy services to support student access and participation in the educational environment

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary special education teams

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements

Compensation

• Pay Rate: Approximately $45$55 per hour, based on experience

• Pay is negotiable for the right candidate

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy (required)

• Active Minnesota OT License (required)

• School-based experience preferred, but not required

• Familiarity with special education processes, IEPs, and educational terminology

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
