Job Title: EHS Team Lead
The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Team Lead role will be responsible for managing the team and the day to day operation of the program.
Responsibilities

Support the implementation and management of various EHS Program initiatives.

Ensure the team understands the client's program/project objectives, requirements, and processes.

Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with team members and facilitate team meetings as needed.

Support program manager/Google sponsor-directed strategies.

Lead by example and act as a role model for the team.

Coach and develop the training team; foster a productive work environment.

Coordinate team workloads, assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure operational objectives are met.

Keep the program manager informed of task accomplishments, issues, and status.

Escalate unresolved issues to the program manager.

Recognize and celebrate team and individual accomplishments and exceptional performance.

Manage program metrics and reporting.

Assist management with hiring processes and new team member training.
Minimum Qualification
-
Comprehensive understanding of quality management systems, environmental, health and safety management practices, principles and procedures.

Multiple years of experience in effective team leadership and management.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to perform in a highly complex and ambiguous environment.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills and able to exhibit efficiency, initiative, resourcefulness, flexibility and adaptability to change.

Ability to work well under pressure and stay immaculately organized in a fast-paced, diverse, high-tech environment.

Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and integrity; highly trustworthy and able to reliably handle confidential and financial information.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree.

Experience in managing people and driving execution while supporting team members' personal and professional growth.

Experience in safety management, safety engineering, industrial hygiene, environmental science, occupational health, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
