Moto United Powersports is a premier powersports dealership serving Northern Utah with a wide selection of top brands including Indian Motorcycle, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Polaris, Can-Am, and Sea-Doo. We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media, Marketing & Event Coordinator to elevate our online presence, drive sales, manage our digital marketing efforts, and create memorable dealership events.
Job Summary:
The Social Media, Marketing & Event Coordinator will be responsible for developing and executingacomprehensive
socialmediastrategy,managingourwebsitecontent,coordinating manufacturer co-op advertising, and planning and executing dealership events. This role requires a deep understanding of the powersports industry, strong content creation skills, a passion for building online communities, maximizing marketing resources, and a knack for creating engaging experiences. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record of managing successful social media campaigns, marketing initiatives, and events.
Responsibilities:
- DevelopandImplementSocialMediaStrategy: Create and execute a cohesive social media strategy aligned with Moto United's marketing goals.
- ContentCreation: Produce high-quality, engaging content for various social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and live streams. This includes:
- Showcasing new inventory from Indian Motorcycle, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Polaris, Can-Am, and Sea-Doo.
- Highlighting dealership events, promotions, and specialoffers.
- Creating behind-the-scenes content showcasing dealership culture and expertise.
- Developing "how-to" content for YouTube, covering maintenance, riding tips, and product demonstrations.
- Showcasing new inventory from Indian Motorcycle, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Polaris, Can-Am, and Sea-Doo.
- CommunityManagement: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews across all social media platforms. Foster a positive and engaging online community.
- SocialMediaAdvertising: Plan and execute targeted social media advertising campaigns to reach specific demographics and drive conversions.
- AnalyticsandReporting: Track and analyze social media performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to optimize campaign effectiveness.
- StayUp to Date:Stayinformedaboutthelatestsocialmediatrends,bestpractices,and algorithm changes, especially in the powersports industry.
- YouTubeContentCreation:Plan,film,edit,andpublishengaging"how-to"andproduct demonstration videos forMoto United's YouTube channel.
- Collaboration:Workcloselywiththesales,service,andmarketingteamstoensure consistent messaging and brand representation.
- Website Management: Update and maintain the Moto United website with current inventory, promotions, and relevant content.
- Ensure website content is optimized for search engines (SEO).
- Monitor website analytics and identify areas for improvement.
- ManufacturerCo-opSubmissions & Monitoring:
- Research and identify available co-op advertising programs from Indian Motorcycle, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Polaris, Can-Am, and Sea-Doo.
- Prepare and submit co-op advertising proposals and claims.
- Track and monitor co-op advertising performance and ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain organized records of all co-op submissions and monitor payments.
- Event Coordination:
- Plan, organize, and execute dealership events, including open houses, demo days, ride events, and customer appreciation events.
- Manage event logistics, including vendor coordination, marketing, and on-siteexecution.
- Develop and manage event budgets.
- Promote events through social media, website, and other marketing channels.
- Gather and analyze event feedback, to improve future events.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for a business, preferably in the powersports or automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and others.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in content creation tools and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite and video editing software).
- Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools.
- Passion for powersports and a strong understanding of the target audience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with website content management systems (CMS).
- Experience with manufacturer coop programs is highly desired.
- Proven event planning and coordination experience.
- strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel to scheduled events for planning and set up.
