Job DescriptionJob Title: Manufacturing Associate ($19-20/hr.)

Job Description

We are looking for a Manufacturing Associate to perform various tasks on the production floor. The role requires operating industrial sewing equipment and machinery to cut tarps to the appropriate size, setting up and making changes to machinery between runs, performing quality checks on finished products, and maintaining a clean work area. We offer weekly pay with overtime paying time and a half. Apply Today!

Responsibilities

  • Operate industrial sewing equipment and machinery to cut tarps to appropriate size.
  • Set up and make changes to machinery in-between runs as required.
  • Perform quality checks on finished products, inspecting color, size, measurements, and defects.
  • Operate and oversee multiple production lines as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in production, general labor, and machine operation.
  • Comfortable working on feet in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and use hand and power tools.
  • Proficiency in packaging, assembly, inspection, and packing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to perform basic tasks on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and complete basic shop math.
  • Capability to multi-task and work independently.

Work Environment

Work in a family-owned, non-climate-controlled facility with approximately 125 total employees. Safety is a top priority, with monthly training provided. Openings are available on 2nd and 3rd shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Smithville, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
