An opportunity is available for an experienced MRI Technologist with strong hospital-based skills and expertise in Philips Achieva systems. This contract position offers night shifts in a busy hospital environment, ideal for professionals who have worked with implanted device scanning and are seeking to expand their clinical experience.
Location:This role is based in Olathe, KS, with floating responsibilities to nearby campus locations. Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour night shifts (1830-0700)
- Three varied night shifts per week
- Rotation weekend work required
- On-call is optional, with overnight call shifts during weekdays and 24-hour coverage on weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans, with particular proficiency on Philips Achieva and Siemens 1.5T Sola systems
- Utilize Cerner, Unity PACS, and Inteview PACS for imaging documentation and reporting
- Safely manage patients with implanted devices during imaging procedures
- Float between hospital campuses as needed
- Participate in a 2-day orientation program to ensure smooth integration
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of hospital MRI technologist experience required; 2+ years preferred
- Prior travel MRI experience of at least one year
- ARRT (MR) certification and current BLS certification
- Strong skills in scanning patients with implanted devices
- Ability to work in a nicotine-free environment
