Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, supporting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring the smooth progress of building activities. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new skills in a dynamic construction environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment on-site
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning, clearing debris, and setting up necessary tools and materials
- Support skilled workers such as carpenters, masons, and electricians in their tasks
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision
- Assist with site safety measures, including setting up barriers and signage
- Carry out general labor tasks including digging, lifting, and moving materials as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to prevent accidents
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Prior experience in construction or manual labor is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work well within a team
- Good communication skills and attention to safety procedures
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass any required background checks or drug screenings
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different construction environments
