This part-time contract position spans August 2026 through June 2027, offering the chance to work across an entire district with a diverse K-12 student population. The flexible schedule involves three days a week (20-25 hours), allowing you to balance personal and professional commitments while contributing your expertise where it’s needed most.

What you’ll bring:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Previous experience providing physical therapy in school settings.
  • Confidence working with K-12 students of varying abilities.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and support teams.
  • Adaptability and organizational skills to travel between schools as required.

Your responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ physical therapy needs and develop individualized intervention plans.
  • Deliver direct therapy and guidance to help students reach functional goals in school environments.
  • Consult regularly with teaching staff and families regarding student progress.
  • Document evaluations, progress reports, and compliance paperwork.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning.

In this role, you’ll develop meaningful relationships with students and staff, using your skills to improve access to education and to foster independence for those with physical challenges. As the only district-wide PT, your expertise will be valued and your work will have a district-wide impact.
