Our client is a manufacturing company. They seek a temp Accounts Payable Analyst to join their Saddlebrook, NJ office.
Responsibilities
- Handle the processing and review of vendor invoices promptly using a paperless and automated accounts payable system
- Oversee vendor relationships in a digital environment, including communication, timely payments, and dispute resolution
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for accurate and timely payment processing
- Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Examine financial data, identify trends, and prepare reports to support management decision-making
- Discover and apply process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounts payable function
- Maintain awareness of industry’s best practices, regulations, and technological advancements related to accounts payable in a digital environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Experience working in a digital AP environment is a plus
- Experience in process improvement initiatives is a plus
- Vendor management experience
- Highly detailed and analytical
- SAP and Excel proficiency is required
