Lamoille Health Partners is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. This role provides essential support to dentists and dental hygienists, ensuring efficient "four-handed" clinical care and maintaining a high-standard sterile environment. The ideal candidate will balance technical proficiency in dental procedures with a focus on patient comfort and clear communication.
Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support: Provide chairside assistance during exams, fillings, extractions, and restorative procedures.

Patient Care: Prepare patients for treatment, update medical histories, and deliver post-operative care instructions.

Radiography: Perform high-quality digital X-rays and take impressions for study casts or appliances.

Infection Control: Maintain clinical safety by strictly adhering to CDC and OSHA protocols for instrument sterilization and operatory turnover.

Administrative Accuracy: Ensure precise, real-time documentation within the Electronic Dental Record (EDR) system.
Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Dental Assisting program is preferred.

Certifications:

Dental Radiography: Required. Candidates who do not currently hold this certificate will be required to obtain it within six (6) months of their start date.

BLS/CPR: Current certification required.

Experience: 1–2 years in a clinical dental setting preferred; however, we are willing to train highly motivated candidates.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with dental software (e.g., eCW, Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and high-level manual dexterity.
