Job Summary: The dedicated Payroll Specialist will assist with processing payroll for over 200 employees. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, and experience with timekeeping and payroll systems. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for over 250 employees accurately and timely.
- Audit timecards for accuracy and compliance.
- Answer employee questions regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits.
- Assist with final pay calculations and processing.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports.
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve payroll issues.
- Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to ensure accurate employee data.
- Provide support during audits and year-end payroll activities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar payroll role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Experience with timekeeping and payroll systems.
- Ability to manually audit timecards for accuracy.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance.
- Construction industry experience highly preferred

Pay Details: $28.00 to $33.00 per hour
