Position Summary:
The Machine Operator Assistant will support the Machine Operators in the production process by preparing materials, monitoring machines, and ensuring smooth operations. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and eager to develop their skills in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Machine Operators with machine setup, material loading, and adjustments.
• Monitor machines during operation to ensure continuous workflow.
• Inspect materials and products for defects and quality standards.
• Handle, organize, and prepare raw materials and finished products.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or issues to supervisors.
• Perform basic recordkeeping, including production logs or checklists.
• Provide general support to production staff as directed.

Qualifications:

• Prior manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience a plus (not required).
• Willingness to learn machine operation and production processes.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs during shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work as part of a team.
