The Program Coordinator will be providing support in an Academic setting within Higher Education.
The candidate must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and computer skills. The role will include coordinating catering and student events, handling communication with external vendors and providing exceptional administrative support to the Leadership Team.
Some of the responsibilities will include:
- Provide daily support and communication in-person, over the phone and via email.
- Lead the development and execution of a multichannel social media strategy that strengthens the university’s brand, engages alumni and supporters, and shapes perceptions among prospective students.
- Identify, develop, and cover campus stories; produce and publish engaging social media content, including copy, graphics, photography, short-form video, and multimedia storytelling.
- Provide logistical support for events, including preparing promotional materials, managing registration, handling communications, and overseeing follow-up processes.
- Draft communications and design visual materials (e.g., flyers) to support program initiatives.
- Contribute to the organization’s communication efforts across various channels, including social media; Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Assist with database management, including generating reports as requested by staff.
Must have:
- 2-3 years of administrative experience in Higher Education.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Must have 2-3 years of experience with digital content creation
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Canva, and Event Management Software.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities
