Location: Dallas, Remote – with once in 2 weeks in person (Hybrid)

Note: Prefer local to TX About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled QA/QE Engineer to ensure the quality and performance of our digital platforms built on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC). The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on automation experience with Playwright (JavaScript) and a solid understanding of eCommerce and CMS domains. You'll work closely with engineering, product, and design teams to validate features, identify issues, and help drive the delivery of robust, user-friendly solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for AEM and SFCC websites.
- Implement UI automation using Playwright with JavaScript to streamline regression and smoke tests.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and cross-browser testing across desktop and mobile devices.
- Validate front-end behavior and component authoring in AEM, along with commerce functionality (e.g. catalog, cart, checkout) in SFCC.
- Log defects, track their resolution, and collaborate with engineering teams to verify fixes.
- Work with product owners and business analysts to review acceptance criteria and ensure features align with requirements.
- Conduct accessibility, performance, and usability testing to deliver optimal end-user experiences.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated tests into the deployment process.
Key Competencies & Skills
- Proven QA/QE experience testing AEM and SFCC digital solutions.
- Strong automation skills using Playwright (JavaScript).
- Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS to identify and troubleshoot front-end issues.
- Familiarity with the Salesforce Commerce Cloud domain — catalog, products, carts, and checkouts.
- Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira and version control tools like Git.
- Exposure to testing across browsers, devices, and responsive breakpoints.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a collaborative team player mentality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Familiarity with CMS concepts like components, templates, and personalization in AEM.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD and testing APIs or web services.
- Understanding of accessibility testing and performance metrics is a plus.
- Exposure to agile development methodologies and working with cross-functional teams.
