Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Procurement Clerk to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $22.00 to $23.50 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:

Initiate, prepare, and verify purchase orders to ensure timely procurement of materials and goods

Input transactions and maintain purchasing and contracts databases accurately

Interact with suppliers to negotiate pricing, monitor availability, and optimize savings

Expedite delayed orders and resolve issues related to changes, returns, and credits

Coordinate with internal teams to meet procurement needs efficiently and promptly
Requirements:
- Review and verify purchase orders in accordance with established guidelines

Administer purchasing systems and ensure data integrity

Resolve procurement issues and follow up on delayed or incorrect orders

Collaborate with suppliers to maintain favorable terms and product specifications

Support internal teams by ensuring timely and accurate procurement fulfillment
Qualifications:

Demonstrate a high school diploma and 1–3 years of related experience

Work under moderate supervision while gaining proficiency in procurement processes

Maintain strong attention to detail and accuracy in all purchasing activities
-
Exhibit effective communication and coordination skills across teams and vendors

Show ability to organize procurement records and support purchasing documentation
