Provide specialized nursing care in a stepdown unit, supporting patients who require close monitoring and advanced clinical skills during their recovery. This contract opportunity is based in Joelton, TN, offering a valuable experience for nurses with critical care expertise.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Current RN license in Tennessee
- BLS certification (ARC or AHA)
- ACLS certification (ARC or AHA)
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
- 1-2 years experience in Stepdown or ICU settings
- Strong clinical assessment skills and critical thinking
- Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:4 in a stepdown environment
Responsibilities / Duties:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients transitioning from ICU to general care
- Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and perform assessments using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to implement care plans
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Maintain professional communication with patients and families
- Flexibly float within the unit as required
Schedule:
- Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- No call responsibilities
- No block scheduling or 48-hour shifts
- Float assignments required
