Bachelor's degree, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiation Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced radiation therapist in Hahira, GA, focused on outpatient cancer care. This contract role supports treatment of adult patients with various diagnoses including prostate, breast, lung, head/neck, skin, rectal, primary brain cancers, as well as palliative bone metastases. The position requires expertise in advanced radiation therapy techniques and fort using Elekta Mosaiq documentation software.
Work schedule consists of five 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The role observes major holiday closures, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day, requiring advance notice for time off. No on-call, float, or weekend duties are required. Training includes an 8-hour orientation, onboarding, and pairing with a mentor, ensuring seamless integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver plex outpatient radiation treatments using modalities such as SRS, SBRT, IMRT, VMAT, 3D/4D imaging, IGRT, SGRT, and DIBH
- Operate Elekta Versa HD accelerators, XVI & iView imaging, VisionRT SGRT, Hexapod table, GE CT simulator, and Philips Pinnacle TPS
- Accurately document treatments in Elekta Mosaiq software
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining a patient-centered approach
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience
- ARRT-T credential (required); ARRT preferred
- BLS certification (required)
- Proficient in Elekta Mosaiq documentation system
