LHH is partnering with a well-established client in Smyrna, GA to hire an Accounts Payable Clerk who will be instrumental in maintaining the financial health of the organization. What You’ll Do

  • Invoice Processing: Review, code, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system with precision.

  • Payment Execution: Prepare and process payments via check, ACH, and wire transfer, ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Reconciliation: Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts, and reconcile vendor statements to maintain accurate records.

  • Issue Resolution: Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth payment cycles.

  • Recordkeeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable files, both digital and physical.

  • Month-End Support: Assist with closing activities, including reporting and account analysis.

What You’ll Bring

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or finance is a plus.

  • Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on experience in accounts payable or general accounting.

  • Skills:

    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    • Excellent attention to detail and time management.

    • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

    • Clear communication and a team-oriented mindset.

Work Environment

  • Setting: Professional office environment.

  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.



Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
