Our organization is on the lookout for a Board Certified Orthopaedic Sports Surgeon to become part of a well-established and expanding practice located along the coast in North Myrtle Beach, SC.
Preferred Experience ...we are interested in candidates who are passionate about both general and sports orthopaedics within one of the fastest growing counties in the nation!
Key Responsibilities:

Join a thriving sports program!

Collaborate with 1 Sports Surgeon, 2 non-operative sports physicians, and 1 Sports Advanced Practice Provider (APP).

Work alongside a diverse team including 3 joint surgeons, 1 foot & ankle specialist, 1 upper extremity surgeon, 1 spine surgeon, and numerous Advanced Practice Providers.

Enjoy ample practice and operating room time, with access to expanding ORs and a freestanding surgical center!

Participate in an emergency department call rotation with fellow surgeons.

Benefit from a supportive team of 9 Advanced Practice Providers assisting in inpatient call rotations.

Engage with local high schools and colleges through affiliations.

General orthopaedic skills are required.

Experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.

McLeod Health Loris, a non-profit 50-bed hospital, focuses on general surgery, women's health, emergency services, critical care, urology, and various therapies including physical, occupational, and speech. We are also proud to introduce a new and expanding Dialysis Access Center.
The Carolina Forest area is committed to maintaining the highest standards of care, providing access to top-tier physicians, enhancing specialty services, and investing in advanced technology. The 43-acre McLeod Health Carolina Forest campus will feature a seven-building complex offering a wide range of services. Additionally, a state-of-the-art facility, costing $56 million, is set to provide 48 beds, ensuring immediate care for all patients. This facility is expected to be completed within the next two years, with an anticipated opening in 2026.
