Frato Products Inc. is currently hiring a Full Time or Part Time Shop Machinist for Immediate hire.
We specialize in the production & repair of equipment for the Construction, Waste & Metal Recycling Industries.
We are looking for a Self motivated, On-Time, Productive member of our team to work in a family oriented environment while enjoying your work day.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Running Manual Lath & Milling Machine
- Saw Cutting, Grinding , Drilling, Lathing, Milling steel parts
- Produce finished parts from Raw steel , bar stock, tubing, angel iron ect.
- Shipping and packaging products to be sent to customers
- Loading and Unloading trucks and equipment via Tow motor or Crane
- Assist in the preparation, grinding and handling of material for production
- Stocking Material and Inventory and Keeping an up to date inventory log weekly.
- Quality Assurance making sure parts are within tolerance and spec
- Keep shop floor and equipment clean and organized at all times by performing end of day maintenance and cleaning of areas and equipment, remove metal shavings, oil equipment ect.
- Perform Daily area inspections of the facility ensuring a safe work environment by sweeping and keeping obstacles clear of paths.
- Meet production quotas and deadlines on time
Qualifications:
- Some experience in a shop environment welding, manufacturing, or other related fields
- Familiarity with metal working tools and procedures
- Ability to read and understand calipers, shop prints tolerances and decimals
- Familiarity with reading blueprints and measurements
- Ability to handle physical workload and lift up to 150lb.
- Valid Drivers License
- Experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate
Work Place:
- Hard working Family Oriented work place
- 7:30am - 4:30pm M-F Some Saturdays

- 40-45 Hour Work Weeks
