Industrial Maintenance Technician II (Manufacturing)

Location: West Hazleton, PA

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM–3:00 PM

Shift: Night Shift 6:30pm - 7:00am on a 2/2/3 schedule (working every other weekend)


Scope of Position


The Industrial Maintenance Technician II supports safe and efficient plant operations by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems. This role performs both preventive and reactive maintenance to minimize downtime, support product quality, and maintain production performance goals.


Responsibilities


  • Follow and enforce all safety, health, quality, GMP, and company policies and procedures
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and plant equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and complete repairs
  • Diagnose equipment failures, replace or repair components, test equipment, and complete adjustments
  • Respond to emergency and unscheduled equipment repairs during production operations
  • Complete scheduled maintenance work during planned service periods
  • Monitor equipment performance and support process adjustments to maintain product quality standards
  • Install, maintain, and service production machines and facility equipment
  • Read and interpret manuals, work orders, and technical documentation to complete maintenance tasks
  • Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and material-handling equipment safely and effectively
  • Identify and report equipment concerns, defective materials, and abnormal operating conditions to supervision
  • Perform basic machinist work as needed
  • Support production teams by providing guidance and training on equipment operation and routine maintenance
  • Maintain plant performance controls that support operational goals and budget targets
  • Travel may be required on a limited basis


Qualifications


  • Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment repair and troubleshooting across multiple systems
  • Ability to work with managers, employees, vendors, and customers in a production environment
