Our organization is in search of a full-time Electrophysiologist Cardiologist to become a part of our well-established team at Albany Associates in Cardiology (AAC), situated in Albany, New York. We are eager to welcome a dedicated and proficient physician who can enhance our expanding practice, which encompasses both inpatient and outpatient duties. This role offers an excellent mix of hospital and clinic responsibilities, along with opportunities for professional advancement and attractive compensation.
Key Highlights:
- Work Schedule: 50% in the office and 50% in the hospital; typically, there are no split days (you will work either in the hospital or clinic, but not both on the same day).
- Procedure Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of experience in electrophysiology is essential, including expertise in ablation and AFib management. Familiarity with Watchman procedures is advantageous.
- Practice Setting: Collaborate with a vibrant team of three EP Cardiologists.
- Call Schedule: Participate in general cardiology call with the AAC practice, approximately once a month for evenings and weekends; there is no specific EP call.
- Office Coverage: Responsibilities will include coverage in Troy, Clifton Park, and Albany, with potential to expand the practice into other areas.
- Flexible Scheduling: You can choose to split your days between hospital and clinic or dedicate full days to one setting.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in electrophysiology, including ablation and AFib procedures. Training in Watchman is a plus, and experience with lead/device extraction is preferred.
- Skills: Strong clinical abilities, exceptional communication skills, and a dedication to delivering high-quality, collaborative care.

Recruitment Package
We provide a competitive base salary with additional earning potential through RVU-based productivity incentives and quality performance bonuses.
- Starting Salary: $k
- The stated salary represents the initial range of total compensation and does not encompass productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, or other forms of cash compensation relevant to the role. Additionally, providers generally receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. This salary range is provided in accordance with state law and may vary based on the factors mentioned.
- Starting Bonus: $50k
- Relocation Assistance: $25k
- Time Off: A tiered model starting at 30 days, increasing with tenure up to 40 days annually.
- CME: $4,500 annually for continuing medical education.
- Loan Repayment: Our institution qualifies as an eligible employer for the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program.
