Job Summary

As an Occupational Therapist, you will:

About Our Department

The Rehabilitation teams at Samaritan specialize in evaluating and treating patients facing challenges in self-care, mobility, and functional independence. Our services include:

  • Hand therapy and upper extremity splinting
  • Wheelchair and home safety assessments
  • Cognitive and neurological therapy
  • Oncology rehabilitation

We pride ourselves on following our patients from initial evaluation to discharge, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Current unencumbered Oregon Occupational Therapist license
  • Healthcare Provider BLS certification
  • If providing home visits, the ability to pass a Criminal Records Check upon hire and every three years thereafter.

  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands

This role may require:

  • Climbing ladders and scaffolding
  • Lifting weights ranging from 20 to 60 lbs
  • Walking on level surfaces and inclines
  • Performing various physical activities such as squatting, kneeling, and reaching
