About Our Department
The Rehabilitation teams at Samaritan specialize in evaluating and treating patients facing challenges in self-care, mobility, and functional independence. Our services include:
- Hand therapy and upper extremity splinting
- Wheelchair and home safety assessments
- Cognitive and neurological therapy
- Oncology rehabilitation
We pride ourselves on following our patients from initial evaluation to discharge, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Current unencumbered Oregon Occupational Therapist license
- Healthcare Provider BLS certification
- If providing home visits, the ability to pass a Criminal Records Check upon hire and every three years thereafter.

Physical Demands
This role may require:
- Climbing ladders and scaffolding
- Lifting weights ranging from 20 to 60 lbs
- Walking on level surfaces and inclines
- Performing various physical activities such as squatting, kneeling, and reaching
