Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time paraprofessional position is available in a preschool setting within a school located in Hollis, NH. This role involves working with preschool students both in an intensive needs classroom and a general education environment, providing essential support throughout the school day.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 2:50 PM (26 hours per week)
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: June 17, 2026
  • One opening available

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working as a paraprofessional in a school setting with a focus on behavioral support
  • ABA training or related experience is strongly preferred
  • Comfortable and flexible working with students who have special education needs
  • Ability to adapt to potential classroom rearrangements
  • Reliable transportation
  • Successful completion of district fingerprinting and onboarding processes
  • At least one completed professional reference prior to submission

Responsibilities:

  • Support preschool students in both intensive needs and general education classrooms
  • Assist teachers with implementing behavioral management strategies
  • Facilitate learning and development activities tailored to individual student needs
  • Communicate effectively with the educational team regarding student progress and needs
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment

This role requires a commitment to fostering positive educational experiences for young learners with diverse needs. A Zoom interview will be part of the selection process.
