Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Perform advanced radiographic procedures using fixed and mobile radiographic equipment in a fast-paced hospital environment, including the Emergency Room and Main Diagnostic areas. This contract opportunity is located in Washington, DC, requiring candidates to live within 50 miles of the facility. The schedule includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 PM to 7 AM, with call responsibilities.
Key Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent from an approved Radiologic Technology program
- Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and current state or district license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of radiology technology experience
- Compliance with current state Radiation Quality Standards and RT registration
- Successful completion of a radiological training program
Responsibilities include performing radiographic procedures accurately and safely under the supervision of a supervisor, manager, or radiologist. You will collaborate with other radiological technologists and hospital staff to deliver excellent patient care and high-quality radiographs.
