The Event Rental Specialist plays a key role in ensuring seamless execution of various events by managing event setup and teardown, logistics, and customer interactions. This role typically operates within a small team and supports diverse events including weddings, private parties, concerts, trade shows, corporate gatherings, and graduation parties. Familiarity with inventory management software and scheduling tools is essential to maintain efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and perform event setup and teardown of rental equipment at jobsites
- Load, Clean, Prep, and store rental equipment.
- Plan and manage logistics for equipment transport using box trucks and towing trailers
- Deliver excellent customer service to event clients
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth event execution
- Utilize inventory management and scheduling software to track resources and timelines
- Take orders and answer customer questions via phone and email.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in event rentals
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Effective problem-solving and time management abilities
- Attention to detail and team collaboration
