Job Description
We are seeking anexperienced Locums Vascular Surgery Physician to provide weekend 24-hour callcoverage at a Level I trauma center in Youngstown, Ohio. This role is ideal fora board-certified specialist skilled in managing urgent and emergent vascularcases in a high-acuity environment.
Shift Type:24-hour Schedule: Weekend coverage On-Call Requirements: Yes – 8 AM to 8 AM Call Schedule: Night Call Ratio: 50% Trauma Level: Level I EMR: Epic
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Provide night call coverage during weekend 24-hour call shifts</li>
<li>Manage emergent and urgent vascular cases (average of 10 cases per day)</li>
<li>Perform inpatient consultations and evaluate patients promptly</li>
<li>Coordinate care with trauma, ICU, ED, and hospitalist teams</li>
<li>Complete timely and accurate documentation in Epic</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Board Certified in Vascular Surgery and FACS</li>
<li>Active Ohio medical license – no exceptions</li>
<li>Valid DEA</li>
<li>Current BLS and ACLS</li>
