Job DescriptionUrologist Position
We are excited to announce an immediate opening for a Urologist within our Department of Surgery. This role is based at a community hospital in the Phoenix metropolitan area, which is recognized as a Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center by both the State and the American College of Surgeons. Our facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including advanced endoscopic tools, a urodynamic lab, and a da Vinci surgical robotic system.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a faculty member in our graduate medical education programs.
- Contribute to the development of the clinical service line.
- Provide both inpatient and outpatient general urology services in elective and emergency settings.
- Participate in shared call coverage and adopt a collaborative approach to patient management.
- Engage in research initiatives and play a pivotal role in expanding our robotics program for urology patients.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited urology residency program.
- Board certified or board eligible status.
- Eligibility for an unrestricted medical license in Arizona; J1 Visa applicants will be considered.
- Preference for candidates with fellowship training or significant experience in robotic-assisted surgery.

Our organization operates as a not-for-profit faculty practice plan, comprised of over 400 providers across various medical and surgical specialties. Our physicians hold faculty appointments and are actively involved in inter-professional education through the Creighton University Arizona Health Education Alliance, which includes a fully accredited ACGME General Surgery Residency. Notably, we host the only ACGME accredited Surgical Critical Care residency in Phoenix and are among 13 hospitals nationwide accredited by the American College of Surgeons for Adult & Pediatric Trauma and Burns.
