Seeking enthusiastic, compassionate, and motivated LCSW / LPC applicants to join the Strong Foundations team!

This position includes providing counseling services to adolescents and young adults with autism and related disabilities, as well as other mental health diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain individual and group counseling sessions and scheduling
  • Develop treatment plans including measurable treatment objectives and evidence-based treatment for individuals with autism and related disorders, as well as other mental health diagnoses
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations and screenings, behavior and crisis assessment, and interventions
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with parents, the clinical team, and state agencies, as well as other professionals.
  • Maintain clinical records consistent with company policy.
  • Participate in staff meetings and required training.
  • Ongoing collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

Requirements:

  • Current Connecticut LCSW or LPC
  • Autism Diagnostic Evaluation Experience (ADOS)
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism is required
  • Must have flexible evening / late afternoon availability
  • 1 year of clinical experience (preferred)
  • Have excellent communication skills, time management, and work as part of a team
  • Maintain current license and certification in CT
