THE POSITION:
As a Compliance and Risk Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting a positive and compliant workplace environment by serving as a resource for employee relations while also ensuring the organization maintains strong compliance and audit-ready practices. This role works closely with Human Resources, Finance, and leadership to support fair and consistent workplace practices, mitigate risk, and ensure adherence to employment regulations and organizational policies.
This position balances employee relations leadership and regulatory compliance oversight, helping to resolve workplace matters while maintaining strong internal controls and documentation processes.
Responsibilities include:
- Serving as a resource for employee relations matters, assisting with workplace concerns, documentation, investigations, and resolution processes
- Promoting fair, consistent, and compliant workplace practices in alignment with organizational policies and employment regulations
- Monitoring workforce-related regulatory requirements and supporting compliance initiatives
- Coordinating documentation and reporting related to audits, internal reviews, and regulatory filings
- Maintaining HR policy governance and supporting updates to ensure alignment with evolving regulations and organizational standards
- Identifying potential compliance or workplace risks and supporting corrective action and process improvements
- Collaborating with internal departments to support accurate reporting, documentation integrity, and audit readiness
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Compliance, Risk Management, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in employee relations, HR compliance, regulatory oversight, risk management, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage confidential information
- Ability to handle sensitive employee matters with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
- Ability to travel locally between clinic locations as needed (approximately 25-30% travel)
