Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher with Autism Specialist experience in Ypsilanti, MI. This contract position runs from March 18, 2026, to June 4, 2026, serving 1st and 2nd-grade students.

Job Details:

• Start Date: 3/18/26
• End Date: 6/4/26
• Pay Rate: $30+
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Caseload: 10-12 students
• Age Group: 1st and 2nd Grade

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Collaborate with autism specialists to tailor instruction and support
• Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Work closely with families, therapists, and school staff to support student development
• Maintain detailed records and documentation for compliance and reporting purposes
