About the Role
Airswift is working in partnership with a leader in the drilling and manufacturing industry. They are currently seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to support, optimize, and improve manufacturing operations through data-driven process design, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work Location: In person - Wilkes-Barre, PA
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, yield, quality, and cost improvements
- Develop, implement, and validate process changes using KPIs, SPC, and trend analysis
- Lead Lean and Six Sigma continuous improvement projects and root cause analysis
- Develop standard work, process documentation, and operating procedures
- Support capital projects and collaborate on process design and scale-up
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Work with cross-functional teams and provide technical training to production staff
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- 2–5+ years in manufacturing or industrial processing environment
- Experience with root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and technical documentation tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
