Job Description

About Us

We are an established auction house specializing in antiques, art, and collectibles. Our focus is on providing expert guidance and comprehensive service to individuals managing estates or downsizing collections.

The Role

As our Consignment Coordinator, you will be the central point of contact for our sellers, managing the entire consignment process from initial inquiry to final sale. You will provide clear communication and concierge-level service, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for every client. This role blends high-touch client relations with detailed project management in the fast-paced world of auctions.

What You'll Do

  • Lead Intake & Qualification
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all consignment inquiries via in person consultations, phone and email.
  • Guide potential consignors in providing the necessary photos and details to assess items for auction.
  • Evaluate leads to determine the correct consignment path (e.g., premier in-house auction, warehouse sale) and clearly explain the process to clients.
  • Consignor Account Management
  • Manage a portfolio of up to 30 active consignments simultaneously, tracking status and deadlines in our CRM.
  • Coordinate all logistics, including scheduling pickups, drop-offs, photography, and cataloging.
  • Serve as the consistent, reliable point of contact for consignors, providing updates throughout the process.

Who You Are

  • An Exceptional Communicator: You possess the professional poise to build rapport and trust with a diverse range of clients.
  • An Expert Multitasker: You thrive in a dynamic environment, effectively managing 25–30 projects simultaneously.
  • A Tech-Savvy Organizer: You are proficient with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Airtable) for managing pipelines and client records.
  • Interested in the Field: You have a genuine interest in antiques and collectibles. Direct auction experience is a plus, but a strong desire to learn the business is essential.

Compensation & Perks

  • We offer a competitive starting wage commensurate with experience.
  • Performance Bonus: After a successful 6-month review, you will be eligible for a performance-based bonus. This bonus is calculated as a percentage of the final sales price for the consignments you personally manage. This allows you to build and grow your own portfolio of business, with compensation that directly reflects your success.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
