SUMMARY
Seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support day-to-day financial operations across payables, receivables, and general ledger activities. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close, and contributing to budgeting and reporting efforts in a fast-paced environment. The position offers strong exposure to full-cycle accounting processes and opportunities to grow within a collaborative finance team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable including vendor setup, invoice processing, payment runs, and 1099 preparation
- Monitor and review accounts receivable activity, assist with collections, and support invoicing processes
- Support month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting schedules
- Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, intercompany accounts, and credit card transactions
- Analyze fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and inventory balances
- Prepare and review expense reports; support travel expense processing (Concur experience a plus)
- Assist with audit preparation including documentation and testing support
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis (budget vs. actuals)
- Handle tax-related activities (direct and indirect) as needed
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and support financial accuracy initiatives
- Participate in special projects and process improvements as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, with strong exposure to accounts payable
- Proficiency in Excel including formulas, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables
- Experience working with accounting systems and financial software
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders
- Problem-solving mindset with solid analytical skills
- Experience with expense management tools (e.g., Concur) is a plus
