Wage Range

Starting at $26/hour

Job Overview
Responsibilities:
-
Fabricate and repair components for Class 6–8 trucks and trailers
-
Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel
-
Cut, fit, grind, and finish components to specified tolerances
-
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
-
Operate fabrication equipment: shears, plasma cutters, benders, and drills
-
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all shop safety protocols
-
Assist with structural repairs, bracket fabrication, and trailer modifications
-
Work closely with service writers and mechanics to ensure seamless project execution
Qualifications:
-
1–5+ years of professional welding/fabrication experience (Level 1–3 applicants welcome)

Familiarity with heavy-duty truck and trailer frames, tanks, and chassis fabrication preferred
-
Ability to pass a weld test (in-shop)

Comfort with power tools, fabrication machinery, and basic mechanical tools

Blueprint reading and welding symbol interpretation skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Strong attention to detail and safety

Valid driver’s license required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $29.00 per hour (DOE)
Expected Hours: 40–45 per week
