Wage Range

  • Starting at $26/hour

  • Higher starting wages available for candidates with advanced skills or certifications

Job Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and repair components for Class 6–8 trucks and trailers

  • Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel

  • Cut, fit, grind, and finish components to specified tolerances

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols

  • Operate fabrication equipment: shears, plasma cutters, benders, and drills

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all shop safety protocols

  • Assist with structural repairs, bracket fabrication, and trailer modifications

  • Work closely with service writers and mechanics to ensure seamless project execution

Qualifications:

  • 1–5+ years of professional welding/fabrication experience (Level 1–3 applicants welcome)

  • Familiarity with heavy-duty truck and trailer frames, tanks, and chassis fabrication preferred

  • Ability to pass a weld test (in-shop)

  • Comfort with power tools, fabrication machinery, and basic mechanical tools

  • Blueprint reading and welding symbol interpretation skills

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

  • Strong attention to detail and safety

  • Valid driver’s license required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $29.00 per hour (DOE)
Expected Hours: 40–45 per week

Schedule:

  • 10-hour shifts

  • 8-hour shifts

  • Day shifts

  • Overtime available
