Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour rotating shifts with weekend coverage required
\n• Maintain 2:1 patient ratios during days, nights, and weekends
\n• 12 hours of orientation provided
\n• Care for adult and geriatric patients in a 22-bed ICU unit
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
\n• Valid Pennsylvania license or Compact license required at time of submission
\n• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
\n• 2 years of experience preferred with 2:1 patient ratio experience
\n• Previous charge experience and community hospital experience preferred
\n• Cerner charting system experience preferred
\n• Must be proficient in advanced ICU skills including CVICU, MICU, SICU procedures
\n• Experience required with cardiac procedures, ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring
\n• Ability to manage complex patients with multisystem organ dysfunction
\n• Float within hospital when needed
\n• 2 supervisor references preferred
\n• Background check required with approval needed prior to offer

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive 22-bed intensive care unit providing advanced critical care services. The facility offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and requires completion of mandatory training modules for all clinical staff prior to facility entry.
