Gross Earnings: $432.00–$589.92 per 12-hour shift (before taxes and deductions; overtime paid as per applicable laws)

Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse (RN) will deliver prompt, high-quality nursing care to patients experiencing acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening situations in a fast-paced Emergency Department.
- Evaluate, prioritize, and triage patients following established clinical protocols.
- Administer emergency nursing care, treatments, and life-saving measures.
- Provide medications, blood products, and IV therapies as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions, interpret clinical data, and communicate changes to the healthcare team promptly.
- Assist with emergency procedures, trauma care, diagnostic tests, and patient stabilization.
- Operate and monitor emergency and life-support equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, EMS, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Promote patient safety, quality care, and favorable clinical outcomes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education, Experience, and Training:
- Valid RN License in the state.
- Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain it.
- ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire and must be kept current.
- PALS certification and/or ENPC required within 30 days of hire and must be maintained.
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation certification within 30 days of hire.
- Certification as an Emergency Nurse (CEN) is preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
Facility-Specific Requirements:
- For Paramedic Base Station ED: MICN certification within 12 months of hire and must be maintained.
- For EDAP certified facilities: Completion of emergency pediatric courses 1 and 2 within 6 months of hire.
- For Non-OB facilities: NRP certification required within 90 days of hire and must be maintained.
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) required within 12 months of hire.
