Pinnacle GI Partners is a family of gastroenterology practices, and we are seeking a Growth and Outreach Coordinator to join our team. This role will serve as a key representative of the organization within the community, focusing on strengthening our relationships with referring providers.
The Growth and Outreach Coordinator is responsible for meeting with referring physicians and their staff to discuss patient care, referral processes, new treatment offerings, and to express appreciation for existing referrals. This position serves as a liaison between Pinnacle GI Partners and referral sources, building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships through face-to-face visits with physicians, referral coordinators, practice managers, and community hospital staff.
This role reports to Executive Director, Site of Care
Key responsibilities in this role:
Relationship Management & Referral Support
- Maintain strong relationships with physicians and key influencers to drive patient volume, enhance loyalty, and exceed provider satisfaction.
- Develop and nurture long‑term partnerships with local community referral sources and healthcare professionals.
- Conduct regular outreach visits to provider offices to deliver marketing materials, reinforce service offerings, and support clinical partnership discussions.
- Provide timely follow‑up on referrals to enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen rapport with referring providers.
- Resolve issues for referring providers within the assigned territory, ensuring a seamless and positive referral experience.
Strategic Growth & Market Development
- Identify and develop strategic opportunities to expand the referral base and grow market share within assigned territories.
- Analyze physician referral patterns using reporting tools and market intelligence to identify trends, gaps, and high‑value growth areas.
- Collaborate with the business development team to evaluate marketing initiatives, uncover new opportunities, and address emerging challenges.
- Communicate referral trends and business opportunities to executive leadership to support strategic planning and volume‑growth objectives.
Reporting, Planning & Execution
- Maintain detailed monthly reports documenting field interactions, key activities, outcomes, and market developments.
- Submit weekly status updates and participate in business development meetings as required.
- Execute a monthly outreach plan and submit accurate, timely expense reports.
- Stay informed about competitive activity within the market and update internal stakeholders as needed.
Training, Knowledge Development & Compliance
- Successfully complete all required training and onboarding, including use of CRM tools and analytics platforms.
- Continually expand medical, clinical, and disease‑state knowledge to effectively communicate service offerings and clinical value to healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrate understanding of company policies and apply them appropriately in field interactions.
- Participate actively in team initiatives to achieve department and company‑wide goals.
What we are looking for in a candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of business development experience
- 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, physician or medical sales
- History of successfully demonstrating an ability to meet quotas/goals
- Proven success in marketing, outreach, and relationship-building within the healthcare space
- Familiarity with healthcare quality metrics and performance improvement practices
- Ability to travel to for outreach and events
- Strong analytical and learning ability, including the capacity to understand, interpret, and clearly communicate complex clinical or business information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present detailed information in a concise and understandable manner.
- High attention to detail with strong clinical/medical acumen and effective problem‑solving skills.
- Exceptional organizational abilities, including prioritizing tasks, managing time effectively, and coordinating people and resources to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated sound judgment, with the ability to determine when “good enough” is sufficient versus when precision and perfection are required.
- Growth mindset and adaptability, showing versatility and the drive to help build and enhance the business development function in a fast-growing healthcare services environment.
- Scientific, experimental mindset, applying approaches such as hypothesizing, testing, measuring, and iterating.
- Strong alignment with Pinnacle GI Partners’ mission and values.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
- Must be authorized to work in the US,
- Must be successfully pass a drug screen and background check upon hire.
