Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A leave contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) at a high school located in Derry, NH. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced SLP seeking to provide targeted speech and language interventions during a temporary assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in high school students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student evaluations
  • Provide consultative services to school staff to enhance communication strategies within the classroom

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP certification
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working with adolescents in a school setting
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development and related disorders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt treatment approaches to meet diverse student needs
