Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time paraprofessional position is available to support preschool students in an elementary school setting. This role is specifically designed to assist in both intensive needs and general education preschool classrooms. The position requires 26 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, with work hours from 8:30 AM to 2:50 PM. The contract runs through the full semester, ending June 17, 2026, with a start date as soon as possible.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide support to preschool students, including those with special education needs
- Assist in classroom activities within both intensive needs and general education settings
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt to classroom changes when necessary
- Implement ABA strategies as part of student support
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma required
- Paraprofessional and/or child-related experience in a professional setting
- Prior ABA training or experience is essential
- Comfortable working with the special education population
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
- Ability to pass district/agency onboarding process, including district fingerprinting
- Must provide at least one completed professional reference before submission
- Willingness to participate in a Zoom interview
