Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- 37.5 hours per week (billable)
- Day Shift
Pay Rate:
- $30 - $35 Per Hour
- Final rate based on experience
Job Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students in a school-based setting. In this role, you will work closely with students, teachers, and behavioral specialists to implement behavior intervention plans and foster a positive and structured learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide one-on-one and group behavioral support to students
- Collect and maintain accurate data on student behavior and progress
- Assist in classroom behavior management using positive reinforcement strategies
- Support students’ social, emotional, and academic development
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff for consistent care delivery
- Maintain documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Assist with crisis intervention as needed, following CPI guidelines
Qualifications
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of school-based experience
- CPI certification preferred or willingness to obtain during onboarding
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with children and adolescents
- Strong observation, documentation, and organizational skills
