Job Title: Inventory Specialist
$17-$22/hr.
Job Description
As an Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the flow of manufactured and resale items through our systems from production/purchase to invoicing customers and accounts payable.
Responsibilities
- Input work orders and finished goods into NetSuite inventory for three manufacturing facilities.
- Measure cull rate from production and tumbling reports.
- Identify inventory discrepancies, research, and correct issues.
- Research inventory discrepancies detected by inside sales.
- Work closely with inside sales and dispatch at four masonry sales centers.
- Match resale item invoices to purchase orders, invoice receipts, and customer invoices.
- Review Shipping Tickets (BOL) and match them with PO to invoices.
- Identify margin losses through matching invoices to inventory receipts and invoicing.
- Schedule and coordinate monthly cycle counts at all four masonry sales centers.
- Travel to four sales locations as required to count or spot check cycle counts.
- Collaborate with sales manager to adjust price sheets as price changes occur.
- Edit and build pricing spreadsheets as directed by the sales manager.
- Enter new manufacturing and resale items into NetSuite as directed.
- Identify best vendors for purchasing considering price, availability, and service.
- Create and download sales reports from NetSuite for analysis by the sales manager.
Essential Skills
- Prior experience as an Inventory Clerk or a similar role.
- Extensive internal and external customer support experience.
- Good leadership and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team.

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional time-management and organizational skills.

Work Environment
The position operates primarily indoors, with occasional duties at plant facilities outdoors. Personal protective equipment is provided where required or requested. The shift is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Responsibilities may include frequent periods of sitting, looking at a CRT screen, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, kneeling, and occasional reaching, grabbing, pushing, and pulling. Frequent use of fingers, wrists, and hands to enter data on a keyboard is also required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roanoke, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
