Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years X-Ray experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for an experienced Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-ray imaging to support a major Level II trauma center in Winston-Salem, NC. This travel position offers the chance to work in a highly dynamic hospital environment equipped with advanced imaging technology and diverse patient care settings.

Responsibilities include performing a broad range of radiologic exams across multiple departments such as the emergency room, operating rooms, endoscopy suites, fluoroscopy, NICU, and inpatient/outpatient settings. You will utilize PACS, portable X-ray machines, C-Arm, and contrast imaging tools to deliver high-quality diagnostic images. Expertise in OR and fluoroscopy imagingincluding procedures like lumbar punctures, myelograms, and orthopedic imagingis essential. Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records is required, and familiarity with Interlad systems is preferred. Responding promptly to varied exam requests in a fast-paced clinical environment is critical.

Shift schedule consists of night hours, including a combination of 9.5-hour and 12-hour shifts, with a focus on weekend coverage. The facility maintains a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences, underscoring the importance of reliability and professionalism.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year radiologic technologist experience; 2 years strongly preferred
  • Valid ARRT certification and current BLS certification
  • Proven PACS, portable X-ray, C-Arm, and contrast imaging proficiency
  • EPIC electronic medical record experience required
  • OR and fluoroscopy imaging experience mandatory
  • Ability to work independently in a high-volume trauma hospital environment
  • Flexibility to adhere to strict scheduling policies
