Job DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Transportation Engineer to join our growing team in Atlanta, GA. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of transportation projects, including roadway design, traffic operations, and multimodal infrastructure, supporting both public and private sector clients across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and analyze transportation systems including roadways, intersections, and corridors
- Prepare engineering drawings, technical reports, and construction documents
- Conduct traffic studies, safety analyses, and capacity evaluations
- Coordinate with project managers, planners, and other engineering disciplines
- Collaborate with clients, agencies (GDOT, local municipalities), and stakeholders
- Support projects through design development, permitting, and construction phases
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in transportation or traffic engineering (flexible based on level)
- EIT required; PE license or ability to obtain preferred
- Experience with GDOT standards and procedures is a plus
- Proficiency with engineering software such as MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D, HCS, Synchro, or similar tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a team environment
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
